Description
  • We are a rapidly growing marketplace platform company seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our dynamic engineering team. This pivotal role will involve leading and mentoring a team of developers, driving technical innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality features that contribute to the success of our platform. Responsibilities
  • - Manage and mentor a team of existing developers to ensure team alignment and efficiency.
  • - Assign and monitor daily development tasks to meet sprint objectives and project timelines.
  • - Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, consistency, and best practices.
  • - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the current system architecture and MySQL database structure.
  • - Review and enhance existing system flows and database designs.
  • - Identify technical debt, propose refactoring strategies, and suggest architectural improvements to increase system scalability and performance.
  • - Work closely with the Product Owner to clarify business requirements, resolve ongoing system issues, and translate product needs into technical tasks.
  • - Act as the technical point of contact between product and development teams.
  • - Oversee the delivery of new features, improvements, and bug fixes, ensuring high code quality and timely execution.
  • - Monitor and improve system performance, uptime, and reliability.

Job Requirement

  • Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer, or equivalent leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and MySQL database design.
  • Proficiency in Core Java, JDBC, Java EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js, React Native, Expo, TypeScript, Node.js, and Supabase.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of leading and motivating a cross-functional team.
  • Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced development environment, ideally during a product launch phase.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure, especially DigitalOcean.
